I. Job Overview
Manage Production and QC operations with a focus on stream lining and improving the overall efficiencies of the day to day operations.Act as back-up for Plant Manager with the possibility of taking over a 2nd shift operation. This position would have 2+ direct reports, production and QC.
|
II. Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and prioritize build shop production
- Standardize the processes of both production and QC in order to maximize productivity and reduce errors and returns
- Establish and assist in the development of build shop polices and objectives
- Assure results and productivity is maintained at or above company goals and standards
- Coordinate and maintain ISO policies and procedures
- Maintain Division OTIF objectives of 96%
- Manage and control productions operations
- Manage and control QC operations
- Develop standardized procedures for aspects of the productions operation
- Increasing efficiencies of operations - Metrics to be determined

III. Job Requirements
- Four Years of college in a business related major or equivalent experience
- Five to Six years of experience in operations
- Five to Six years supervisory experience
- Requires good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Problem solving ability
- Lean manufacturing
- Supply chain skills
- Connector knowledge a plus
- Electrical Engineer background
- Able to read drawings and interpret specifications

I. Job Overview
Through direct contact with the TPC sales force and customers, develop custom products to meet specific customer application requirements. Evaluates customer needs and make appropriate recommendations for in-line and or custom designed products. Translate customer application needs to specific capabilities of the supply base and generates sales revenue to TPC through the sale of these custom products. Provides a technical advisory role for problem applications.

II. Job Responsibilities
- Primary contact for the sales force for the engineering and devolopment of custom designed cable and connectors for solving customer application problems
- Expand TPC's presence in the market place as an innovative problem solving company providing cable and connector solutions
- Devolop sales and training tools
- Through the use of the EPD data base, identify custom product opportunities as possible additions to the product line
- Interpret the needs of the customer's application and engineer a cable or connector solution
- Work directly with suppliers to identify their capabilities and design unique problem solving products
- Act as a knowledge center for the division on suppliers capabilities and design alternatives
- Identify custom products that have enough repeatabliity to move in-line

III. Job Requirements
- Associates Degree in Technical Field
- Organizational and writing skills that will enable him/her to organize, record, conduct and complete multi faceted long term projects
- Good people skills to work successfully with Division staff, supliers, sales force and customers
- Results oriented. confronts and overcomes barriers to successful completion of a task or project
- Works well in a team environment
- Good PC skills to include Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. In addition CAD-CAM software

I. Job Overview
Sales position that develops plans for TPC Wire & Cable products through a direct selling approach to the assighned customer base (MRO) and also using outbound calls

II. Job Responsibilities
- Sales in current account base are maintained and accounts are offered additional products and services
- Meet and exceed sales goals and assigned objectives
- Maintains close contact with end users
- Understand the purpose and application of our products and are able to identify the needs of the customer and manufacturing processes
- Selling techniques will include combination of outbound calling approach and field plant visits

III. Job Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in business or a related field or equivalent business experience
- Two (2) to five (5) years of direct selling experience
- Comprehensive product and application knowledge
- Demonstrated sucess in growing and devoloping a sales territory
- Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
- Solid understanding of current contact management system and related computer software needed to preform necessary tasks
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required
