Position Title:  Sales Representative
Department:   Field Sales
Location:        Chattanooga

Job purpose

Sales position that develops plans for TPC products through a direct selling approach to the assigned customer base. (MRO)

Principal Accountabilities

  • Maintains close contact with end users. (Relationships)
  • Develops goals for each customer and TPC product family.
  • Meet established objectives and goals.

Key Chanllenges

  • Maintain sales targets by customer and product families.
  • New customer development.
  • Time and territory management.
  • Continuous education features and benefits. (Product knowledge)

Skills, Know How and Experience

  • Four year degree in business or marketing
  • Three to Five years experience in selling/sales.
  • Communication skills at the plant level and with Corporate Purchasing.
  • Product Knowledge.
  • Inventory Knowledge.
  • Planning goals and customer development.
  • Computer skills.

Position Dimensions:

This Position has No direct reports.
Meet established goals for sales by customer and product family.
Continued training and development on product knowledge, features and benefits.
Develop basic computer skills.
Develop new customers within the assigned territory.
