Thermo-Trex® Silica Ultra-Sleeve High Temperature Sleeving

Silica Ultra-Sleeve is a braided silica fiber that is 96% pure. Silica offers temperature resistance up to 1260°C / 2300F while offering outstanding flame resistance, flexibility and tensile strength. It also doesn’t have the negative health effects associated with asbestos or ceramic sleeves.

Heavy Wall Braided Silica Sleeve Made of 96% Pure Silica Fiber

An excellent replacement for asbestos material that will resist most corrosive fluids and will not generate smoke or fumes even under the most severe heat conditions.

Extreme Temperature Properties

Suitable for continuous use at 982°C and intermittent use up to 1260°C. Offers superior protection for cables, assemblies or hoses exposed to extreme heat and flames.

Excellent Alternative to Asbestos

Protects hoses, cables and other equipment from extreme heat, molten metals, sparks and flames in a wide range of welding and heat-treating operations.

Available in Multiple Diameters

Can expand and contract by approximately 20% of its nominal size to allow for the selection of the right size sleeve for the application.
