    Military Connectors

Our weld lead and power lead cables are subject to extreme conditions. They lie in oils, solvents, soaps, and are subject to being run over by forklifts and other machinery. Previous to TPC, we changed out cable two to three times per year on each of our eight welding machines. Some of our machines have been equipped with TPC cable for three full years!

    MIL-C-26482 Series 2

TPC’s MIL-C-26482 Series 2 connectors are designed with silicone inserts and seals for higher temperature and chemical applications. These connectors are intermateable and interchangeable with all MIL-C-26482 connectors. This style of connector uses a bayonet style coupling system for quick mating and unmating of the connector. TPC has taken the standard MIL-C-26482 Series 2 design and developed a new back shell that incorporates a sealing grommet and strain relief for added cable life.
    TPC Mil-C-26482 Series 2

The shell design is a machined aluminum incorporating a low profile design and a reduced overall length for close quarter installations. There are 27 contact layouts available ranging from 3 to 61 positions. Contacts available are 12AWG, 16AWG and 20AWG. The combination of TPC’s High-Performance Cable, the proven reliability of the MIL-C-26482 Series 2 connector and the Flex/Strain Relief of our new back shell design makes for an unbeatable system.
