Chem-Gard® 250 Multi-Conductor Cable

Chem-Gard® 250 Multi-Conductor Cable is a high temperature and chemical resistant cable for control and instrumentation applications that can withstand a maximum conductor temperature of 250°C / 482°F.  This control and instrumentation cable features a copolymer PFA jacket that provides excellent chemical, abrasion and high heat resistanceChem-Gard® is approximately 40% smaller in diameter than typical SOOW cable, allowing it to be used in areas with restricted space and in conduit.

Features

Finely Stranded Nickel-Plated Copper Conductors

Fine stranding improves flex-life and reduces conductor fatigue and breakage. Nickel-plated conductors allow for high heat resistance.

Specially Compounded PFA Insulation

High dielectric, tensile, and mechanical properties. Offers superior resistance to lubricating oils, coolants, cutting oils, acids, and most chemicals.

High Temperature Fillers

Will not wick up contaminants into cable. Allow conductors to move freely within the jacket for improved flex-life in dynamic applications.

Specially Compounded PFA Jacket

Ideal for environments where harsh chemicals are present. Superior resistance to oils, acids, solvents, and chemicals. Excellent defense against cutting and abrasion.
