    Control Cable and Instrumentation Products

Norfolk Naval Shipyard brought to the rep’s attention a few ideas to improve our welding cables and lines. TPC picked up the ball and designed products that we now use at the Navy Yard every day.

      CHEM-GARD® RTD 200C CABLE

RTD Wire, or Resistance Temperature Detector, is an instrumentation temperature sensing device cable and work on a basic correlation between metals and temperature in which change in resistance of the detector element is calibrated with temperature. A change in resistance directly gives the value of temperature of the system.

Three wire RTDs are the most common specification for industrial applications with shielded cable used to reduce noise interference.
