        CUSTOMER PROBLEM:

        Our customer was changing out this cable every week due to molten iron and slag burning the cable when it would splash out of the pouring vessel. Added to that the constant tension from reeling stretches the cable in their slag and teaming car application. The customer was looking to replace 4 units that used 125' per unit.

        TPC SOLUTION:

        TPC suggested using our flexible Super-Trex® brand Type W/Type TC portable power and automation cable. The specially compounded TSE double pass jacket defends against tearing, abrasion, impact, oil, ozone and most chemicals while being flame an heat resistant.
