COLD TEMPERATURE CABLE APPLICATIONS

Whether you're preparing for cold weather or your applications are operating in extreme cold environments, TPC understands that having a cable that can keep up with your operations can be a competitive advantage. Frigid temperatures can have adverse effects on your wire and cable, causing them to temporarily become inflexible and brittle. In these conditions, some cables will stiffen and even crack if they are installed below recommended temperatures. These conditions can lead to downtime, difficult installations, and even cause damage to cable jackets and insulation.

Choosing the right low-temperature cable for your environment is key to a longer-lasting cable life. TPC has a wide variety of cable materials and configurations to suit every industrial application, including extreme cold.

TPC Wire and Cables TOP Featured cold temperature Products:

The Chem-Gard® family of chemical-resistant electrical cable products are rated for temperatures as low as -60°C and features both power and and control sizes ranging from 18 AWG to 10 AWG in both shielded and un-shielded multiconductor cables and 18 AWG to 1 AWG in a variety of colors for single conductor cables.
