En una acería, una fundición o cerca de un horno, el cable no falla por mala suerte. La falla se debe a que se adquirió un cable que nunca fue diseñado para resistir el calor al que está expuesto. La buena noticia es que, para evitarlo, basta con saber leer un solo número en la ficha técnica —la temperatura máxima del conductor— y entender por qué casi ningún cable convencional resiste los entornos hostiles de su planta.
